We are now busy preparing for the next implementation phase of our new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

The new system will link our business processes, people and information across one global, seamlessly-integrated, standardised platform, making it easier for our customers to do business with us.

Having transitioned our European Distribution Centres to the new platform, we are now undertaking our global implementation programme, region by region, country by country.

The next phase in the implementation schedule is for our Nordic region, from which we source some of our Peltor™ and Speedglas™ ranges of personal protective equipment, as well as some Precision Grinding and Finishing products.

This is scheduled to take place in August, with key dates as follows:

  • New system implemented: 28 July 2015 - 4 August 2015
  • Go Live date: 3 August 2015

Keeping our customers informed of these important changes is key to the success of this project.

Whilst we are not anticipating any interruption to supply of these products for customers in the UK & Ireland, should you have a requirement for a large order during this time period, then please discuss this with your 3M Customer Service Representative.
