5% Sodium Fluoride: Protection that tastes good

3M ESPE Clinpro™ White Varnish is a fluoridated clear varnish for treatment of hypersensitive teeth; it is appropriate for use on both enamel and dentine. It is moisture and saliva-tolerant; consequently, it flows smoothly on moist teeth and binds firmly to their surfaces.

The treatment may be applied after routine professional tooth cleaning or scaling and rootplaning. However, this is not a prerequisite; the area to be treated only needs to be "toothbrush clean".

Most of all, your patients will appreciate the pleasant taste of Clinpro white varnish which has a fresh flavour of mint. Xylitol is used as a sweetener.

Clinpro™ White Varnish

Active Ingredient and Dosage

1 ml of Clinpro™ White Varnish contains 50 mg of sodium fluoride, corresponding to 22.6 mg of fluoride ions, in an alcohol based solution of modified resins. Individual doses of 0.25 ml, 0.40 ml and 0.50 ml for different patient classes are adaptable.

A paste that meets all your needs

3M™ ESPE™ Clinpro™ Prophy Paste is a polishing paste for the removal of heavy stains in the in-office cleaning procedure. It contains pumice and is available in three different grits – fine, medium and coarse offering optimal cleaning and abrasion in every situation.

Clinpro prophy paste offers:

Easy to use – easy to verify

3M ESPE Clinpro™ Sealant is a light cure, fluoride releasing sealant for enamel pits and fissures. It represents effective protection for the early prevention of caries.

It can be applied directly to the tooth, simply and neatly, with a handy syringe. A unique feature that makes your work easier is our innovative colour change technology. When Clinpro sealant is first applied to the tooth surface, it is pink, but it changes to an opaque tooth shade when exposed to light. The clearly visible pink colour helps you to measure out the material accurately and apply it evenly during the sealing process.

The therapy and prophylaxis at home range for patients...

3M ESPE Clinpro™ Gel and Clinpro™ Fluid are two products from the Clinpro series that patients can use themselves during their tooth care routine at home. Both can be used to help treating gingivitis and hypersensitivity. They are also helpful in supporting caries prevention and periodontal treatment measures.

The gel contains...

• 0.4% stannous fluoride
• Delivers 960 ppm of fluoride ions

The fluid contains...

• Concentrated mouthwash with 0.6% stannous fluoride
• Delivers when diluted with water 240 ppm of fluoride ions

The stannous fluoride in addition to its remineralising and densensitising effect also has antimicrobial properties. The tin ions penetrate the bacteria’s cell walls and disrupt cell metabolism and inhibit the bacteria’s ability to form colonies. Thus, stannous fluoride is an excellent means for preventing caries and periodontal disease.

Clinpro gel and Clinpro fluid are indicated to help prevent, avoid and treat hypersensitivity and support treatment of gingivitis and periodontitis. They are also indicated for patients experiencing xerostomia (e.g. as a result of diabetes or radiation therapy) or during a periodontal maintenance program. Both products are appropriate for adults and children aged 6 and over. They should be used once daily after regular tooth cleaning.
