Before starting have two small pieces of tape handy. These will be used to remove bubbles caused by dust – do not fully apply the film until all the bubbles are moved. To avoid creating bubbles go slowly and apply the film evenly across the screen from one side to the other, as soon as you notice a bubble stop and pull the film up past the bubble to release the air then begin applying it again. If the bubble does not go away then it could be caused by dust rather than air.
To remove a bubble caused by dust, gently lift up the film to expose the underside determine if the particle of dust is on the film or the screen. If it’s on the film use the tape to remove it from the backside of the film then slowly reapply the film smoothing out with the applicator or your finger. If the particle is on the screen try removing it with the second bit of tape, if that does not work try cleaning the screen in that area then begin applying it again. Once you have reached the end and the screen is bubble free apply it completely and clean the screen.
