3M™ Dual Lock™ Fastening System

Dual Lock consists of several mushroom-shaped stems which are located on an adhesive backing to provide a strong and durable Fastening System.

Dual Lock is engaged by simply pressing two parts of the product together whilst the mushroom-shaped stems interlock with each other. This engagement is evident by a ‘snap’ sound. The result is an holding strength, which is up to 12 times stronger than hook-and-loop fasteners.

The durability of Dual Lock allows for up to 1,000 openings and closures.

Additional features include:

  • Fast and easy assembly / dismantling
  • Can be used on flexible or rigid surfaces
  • Range of mushroom-shaped stem densities determine the holding power
  • 360° alignment possible so no need for precise alignment
