3M™ Scotchkote™ innovative rapid setting polymeric linings have been specifically formulated to reduce time and cost. To avoid shutting down water mains for long periods, utilising rapid curing materials provides a cost effective solution that leaves the pipes rehabilitated and minimises disruption to consumers, traffic and the environment. 3M™ Scotchkote™ Pipe Renewal Liner 2400 , the latest addition to the range, is now approved under Regulation 31(4)(a), and when applied at the appropriate thickness, is suitable for use as a Class D Water Quality Lining, and exceeds the requirements of Class B as a structural enhancement lining, as defined in BS EN13689:2002 / BS EN ISO 11295: 2010, with a projected 50 year service life*. With the addition of an air vortex applied coating, 3M products can now be used to rehabilitate small diameter communication pipes, providing a much quicker and more cost effective solution - in fact, it has been shown in field trials that 20 properties per day can be lined compared to typically 15 per week with traditional rehabilitation techniques. |
