Bridges & Gantries

Bridges and gantries are valuable and costly to replace. 3M™ Scotchkote™ liquid solutions provide long term corrosion protection, whilst providing an aesthetically pleasing finish for both new build and refurbishment projects. Nowhere is this more evident than in the domain of bridge refurbishment where time restraints for line possessions and track closures play a significant part in the overall budget of these projects.

Additional coating features such as surface tolerance and low temperature and moisture tolerant curing reduce even further the overall duration of the coating contract, with no reduction in the anticipated coating durability. Independent testing to RT98 shows an anticipated service life of a minimum of 25 years, when applied to blasted, gingered and manually prepared steelwork. Coatings can also be applied to existing paintwork, as long as it is sound and well adhered.
