Line Marking

Passenger safety is always foremost in the minds of station owners and operators. Line marking, whether on station platforms or on step edges, plays a significant part in this safety issue. 3M™ Scotchkote™ liquid coatings provide a fast curing (even in cold, damp conditions) durable line marking solution, enabling a fast return to service, ensuring that the station can be back in service with the minimum disruption to the travelling public. Aggregates can be added to provide slip deterrent properties, whilst the durable properties provide a highly wear resistant coating, with easy clean properties.

Systems are compliant for use in Section 12 locations.
