New designs in station roofs provide a light and airy atmosphere in modern stations. However, the steelwork supporting these roofs is very often difficult and costly to access and maintain. 3M™ Scotchkote™ liquid coatings provide a long term, highly cost effective solution whilst minimising the length of time costly processes such as scaffolding and encapsulation are needed within a station environment. Independent testing to RT98 shows an anticipated service life of a minimum of 25 years, when applied to blasted, gingered and manually prepared steelwork. |
