Panel Repair

Preparation is key. Degrease in accordance with paint company recommendations.

Remove paint from damaged area using a gear driven/planetary sander and 3M™ Hookit™ Purple+ Multihole Abrasive Disc P80 (50524) then feather out area using P180 (50527).

Mix and apply 3M™ Multipurpose Body Filler (50658) to damaged area, avoiding surrounding paintwork.

Apply 3M™ Dry Guide Coat 09560

Hand sand filler area using 3M™ Hookit™ Purple+ Multihole abrasive sheet P80 (30623).

Re-apply 3M™ Dry Guide Coat (09560).Feather out edges using 3M™ Hookit™ Purple+ Multihole Abrasive Sheets P180 (30619).

Finish with a 3M™ Hookit™ Abrasive Disc P180.

Check repairs, then move vehicle into primer preparation area.
