Key around the repair prior to applying etch primer using a 3M™ Hookit™ Purple+ Abrasive Multihole Disc P320/P500(50531/50534). Awkward areas can be sanded by handusing Scotch-Brite™ Hand Pads (07447) or Scotch-Brite™ Pre-Cut (07904). For difficult to reach areas Scotch-Brite™ Multi-Flex (07521) can be used.
Blow off excess dust. Wipe down with 3M™ Professional Panel Wipes (34567) with 3M™ General purpose adhesivecleaner (08984)
Apply masking using Scotch™ High Performance Masking Tape 3434 in 38mm (07898) as required.
Move vehicle into primer booth and complete masking stage
Tack area prior to primer preparation with 3M™ Tack Cloth (07910).
Apply Primer according to paint company recommendations to repairs, keeping spray area to a minimum and avoiding hard edges. Dry to paint company recommendations.
