Scotchgard™ Multi Purpose Protector

Protects against oily stains! Helps keep fabrics on sofas and armchairs looking new for longer. Specially formulated for furnishing fabrics and leather, Scotchgard™ Multi Purpose Protector forms an invisible barrier to protect textiles and leather from water, wine, coffee or oily stains. Makes stain cleaning easier.

How to use

• Use only on clean and dry furnishing fabrics and leather
• Make a test on a small inconspicuous area and allow to dry for 12 hours to test for colour fastness and that the material is not affected in any way
• Do not spray on non-textile parts to avoid their spoiling
• Shake can well. Hold upright, spray material evenly at 20cm (8 inches) from the surface
• Spray uniformly from side to side and then from top to bottom. Do not saturate the area
• A second application in the same manner will provide increased protection
• Allow to dry for 12 hours before use
• Reapply after every cleaning to maintain and rejuvenate repellency
• Do not use on varnished leather, imitation leather, plastic or rubber.

Scotchgard™ Rug & Carpet Cleaner

The foaming action is great for cleaning high-traffic areas such as stairways or hallways, as well as entire rooms. Leaves behind Scotchgard™ anti-soiling agents to protect against future resoiling.

How to use

• Before cleaning test an inconspicious area of the carpet for colourfastness and to check that the carpet is not affected in any way
• Shake can well
• Hold upside down around 15cm away from the stain and spray the soiled area
• Wait 3-5 minutes. Working from the outside of the stain in, blot or lightly rub area with a clean, damp, colourfast sponge or cloth
• Rinse sponge or cloth and repeat until carpet is clean
• Stubborn stains may require additional treatments
• Stay off cleaned area until completely dry
• Vacuum area when dry for maximum benenfit.

Certain stains may cause permanent discolouration even after cleaning. Do not mix with bleach or other household products.

How to use

NOTE: Intended for use on washable fabrics approved by the manufacturer for water based cleaning or protection products.

• Before cleaning test an inconspicious area of the fabric for colourfastness and to check that the fabric is not affected in any way
• Remove loose dirt or food particles and blot wet spills with a clean, absorbent sponge or cloth. On dried stains, remove crusted debris and vacuum before cleaning
• Shake can well
• Hold upside down around 15cm away from the stain and spray the soiled area
• Wait 3-5 minutes. Working from the outside of the stain in, blot or lightly rub area with a clean, damp, colourfast sponge or cloth
• Rinse sponge or cloth and repeat until fabric is clean
• Stubborn stains may require additional treatments
• Stay off cleaned area until completely dry
• Vacuum or brush area when dry for maximum benenfit.

Do not use on :- Silk, Wool, Velvet, leather, vinyl, suede, imitation suede or dry clean only fabrics.
