The 3M™ Cable Abandonment kit comes complete with all the components required to abandon cables either temporarily or permanently. Unlike simply using a cable end cap, the cable abandonment kit ensures cables are safe even if they are accidently re-energised. There is no requirement for mastic, grease or heat unlike other alternative options and because these products are cold applied, the system is ideal where hot work permits are difficult to obtain.
