The Si2K Basic bench-top thermal transfer printer is perfect for small and medium volume printing, providing clear print at a low cost. These printers are extremely versatile, high quality, high-speed, easy to use, low maintenance and compact size (only slightly over 1 square foot of bench area). It can operate in semi-automatic and manual loading modes printing tailored labels and tags for a variety of electrical applications. Labels can be used straight from the printer with no smudge.

Features

  • Versatile – One 3M printer can print on a wide variety of materials and is extremely versatile for the following marking applications: wire/cable (but not heat shrink sleeves), cable ties, terminal blocks (for most manufacturers), internal device, and external panel (including buttons, channels, name plates, etc).
  • High quality – Thermal transfer system provides high resolution on many types of surface materials and is compatible with most formats.
  • Easy to Use – Tags come in modules that easily feed through the printer. Printers have semi-automatic feeder for fast work with wire and terminal block tags.
  • Low Maintenance – Easy-to-access print and feed area with easy to change ribbon cartridge. A special cleaning cassette is provided to clean the print chamber.
  • Compact – This high-speed printer covers only slightly over 1 square foot of bench area and is only about 8 inches high
  • Drivers available: For all Windows® operating systems (95, 98, NT with Service Pack 6, 2000, XP).
  • Built-in keyboard: Able to set different adjustments, run print tests, stop printing in progress, slide item forward or backward and check all printer sensors.
  • Complete with all neceassary software for data preparation
