3M™ Scotchcast™ 1402FR Hazard Area Resin is a halogen free, flame retardant, two component polyurethane resin. The resin is designed for flame retardant and chemical resistant properties as well as electrical insulation and mechanical protection of electrical cable joints.

Applications

  • Suitable for electrical insulation and mechanical protection of low and medium voltage electrical joints installed for indoor and outdoor, underground and submerged applications in conditions where flame retardancy and/or resistance to chemicals such as hydrocarbon is required.
