Venous Leg Ulcers
'Therapeutic compression, designed for everyday comfort'
The 3M™ Coban™ 2 Compression System is comfortable to wear and simple to apply. Coban 2 compression system comprises of two thin layers to provide the stiffness required to sustain working pressures/low resting pressures to reduce oedema without the bulk.1 Recommended for patients with an ABPI equal to or greater than 0.8.
The 3M™ Coban™ 2 Compression System is made without latex and was specifically developed to overcome some of the challenges that clinicians encounter with compression therapy. This compression system offers benefits to both clinicians and patients including:
- Reduced slippage, making it more comfortable to wear1
- Patient preferred compared to other multi-layer bandage system1
- Less bulky allowing normal footwear to be worn2
- Simple application techniques, easy to learn3
- During 421 bandage changes, patients showed 98% concordance with therapy4
- Simple ordering system, one size fits all
Coban 2 compression system is sold as a bandage system consisting of two layers - the inner comfort layer and the outer compression layer.
For patients less tolerant of compression, please see 'Venous Leg Ulcers with an Arterial Component'.
