1. 3M™ Disposable Respirators

3M pioneered the disposable particulate respirator (commonly known as disposable "dust masks") and for over 30 years our Occupational Health and Safety Group have developed, manufactured and supplied this form of respiratory protection.

Our respirators' performance, as a minimum, meets the latest European Standards. In addition we've worked hard to understand what makes people use a product; such as comfort, easy of use and storage. We continue to work hard to update and expand our range to ensure we offer products thata are priced and positioned to meet our customers' requirements at every level.

We've made our products as comfortable as possible so people not only wear them becuase they have to, but want to wear them. Examples include the 3M™ Cool Flow™ valve and the unique 3-panel, flat-fold design utilised in the 3M™ Aura™ 9300+ Series which delivers unrivalled comfort and ease of communication.

We've colour coded features such as straps and valve lettering so that wearers can tell at a glance the protection level of the respirator being worn, e.g. FFP1=yellow, FFP2=blue, FFP3=red.

Sometimes protection is needed against a particulate hazard accompanied by a low level of gases or vapours. So we developed our Specialty Range to relieve the discomfort caused by these contaminants.
