3M in collaboration with the Infection Prevention Society (IPS)
3M's Infection Prevention Division is committed to supporting the IPS in reaching their target of 2012 members in 2012
In an effort to improve clinical care and reduce the rate of infection, it is important for suppliers and industry bodies to work together. Therefore, as corporate members, 3M’s Infection Prevention Division is helping the IPS to increase membership by arming its sales representatives with information to raise awareness of the benefits of membership.
According to IPS President, Tracey Cooper "there has never been a better time to become a member of the Infection Prevention Society, with your help we can make this Society stronger and achieve our vision where no person is harmed by a preventable infection".
Join one of the UK’s and Ireland’s most influential charitable organisations, the Infection Prevention Society for:
Your career development: Keep up to date on evidence based practice, develop your personal competence and gain Continuing Professional Development hours by attending specialist study days, national conferences, and learning from the Journal of Infection Prevention.
Putting patients and service users first: Membership provides access to a wide range of online IPS educational resources to ensure that you remain well informed and provide best practice advice. This will ensure patients and service users are kept at the heart of everything we do in the quest for no avoidable infections.
Support: Be part of a growing community across the UK and Ireland with access to support networks, discussion forums and social media. You will receive the latest information through exemplar study day programmes where you can be stimulated and motivated to achieve best results.
Along with 3M’s commitment, your help as a clinician is critical to building a stronger IPS, one that makes a difference to patients and service users everywhere.
