A colour coded range of masking tapes that outlines the increasing temperature performance of each product from our general purpose paint masking tape – which has a blue core colour – through to our high temperature masking tape – which has a distinct red core colour.

A general purpose masking tape that is ideal for paint masking where a low temperature bake cycle of up to 80°C is used. Also effective for bundling, sealing, attaching or even labelling.
As the most durable product in the range this thicker tape can withstand high levels of tensile stress which makes it ideal for applications where the product is pulled across surfaces and must resist lifting or rolling of the edges. It also offers excellent solvent resistance.
Using a specially formulated rubber resin adhesive this product has a less aggressive tack than alternatives. This makes it more suitable for applications involving painted or lacquered surfaces and also easier to reposition without leaving adhesive residue.
This masking tape offers a balance of good initial adhesion, conformability and temperature performance in higher temperature bake cycles up to 100°C. It is also moisture and solvent resistant.
As the highest performing product in the range this moisture resistant masking tape will withstand temperatures as high as 160°C and even repeat bake cycles. It has excellent solvent resistance, sliver resistance and is suitable for all oven systems including infra red and heat lamps.
