3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Thread-Locking Adhesives come in both high-strength and medium strength options, ideally suited to the mechanical and automotive industries of servicing and repair. These thread-locking products are pre-applied to screws and nuts and have excellent resistance to automotive fluids, gases and chemicals. They are also formulated to withstand high pressures and temperatures of up to 300ºF.
When applied, thread-lockers form an instant seal and prevent loosening by vibrations, stress and shock, although they also allow for disassembly.
