Abingdon, UK, 10th March 2005 – Touch Systems has launched a new rapid response warranty programme in UK, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Benelux that offers comprehensive and highly flexible technical support across its new and existing touch monitor range. Touch Assured enables 3M distributors to guarantee end user peace of mind in the rare event of a technical failure, with free monitor exchange, faster response and increased service levels.

"To help achieve this we conducted extensive research into our existing warranty procedures to identify new ways to create further benefits for our customers."
Under the Touch Assured warranty programme, the customer now contacts the 3M Call Centre directly for trouble shooting advice and technical support. Less involvement in the RMA (Return Material Authorisation) process frees up more time at the distributors end and increases customer satisfaction as a result of reduced downtime and a faster, more efficient service.
Touch Assured is a two-tier service which provides the ultimate in warranty flexibility. The Swap-Out Service (SWAP) covers all new M150 and M170 LCD desktop monitors for the first year. The Pick Up, Repair and Return Service (PURR) covers the old-style M150 model, CRT desktops, LCD chassis and CRT chassis including second and third year warranty periods for M170s and new-style M150s.
