New 2-Layer ‘Lite’ Bandage System from 3M benefits patients less tolerant of compression16 March 2011 Indicated for venous ulcers, venous ulcers with an arterial component (‘mixed aetiology’) and lymphoedema, the Coban 2 Lite compression system can be safely applied in selected patients where the ABPI (Ankle: Brachial Pressure Index) is equal to or greater than 0.5. In a series of case studies, 100% of patients demonstrated wound healing or wound reduction after six weeks of treatment. With good static and dynamic stiffness, the Coban 2 Lite system delivers up to 7 days wear time with minimal bandage slippage.
