The SPP3-E patch panel range is designed as a universal fibre optic patch panel for direct termination with, for example, the 3M™ Hot Melt- or NPC connectors, or as a splice drawer to store pigtails in DIN splice cassettes. Multiple entry ports allow the use and fixing of 2 - 4 fibre horizontal cable as well as backbone cable with up to 48 fibres.
The cable can be fixed either via cable glands or cable ties. The panels offer also fixing hooks for manifolds of pre-terminated backbone cable. A central thread allows stacking up to 4 DIN splice cassettes including the top lid. The panels have a sliding mechanism with a defined hard stop, which prevents the drawer from being pulled out completely and therefore offers the installer a comfortable handling for both, new installation and re-arrangements.
